Compare the main plate formats in millimetres and inches. All dimensions are width × height. Measure your vehicle’s mounting area before choosing a plate.

Millimetres to inches conversion table

1 inch = 25.4 mm. Divide millimetres by 25.4 to convert to inches. Inch values below are approximate and rounded to two decimal places; the millimetre measurements define the physical plate.

Choose the size that fits

Short plates do not have one fixed width, and bubble plates do not have one fixed outline. Check the preview and contact us if your recess is unusual. A plate’s dimensions alone do not establish road legality; the finished registration layout and vehicle must meet the applicable requirements.
